George Town, Grand Cayman (13 April 2026): Cayman First Insurance Company Limited (“Cayman First”) continued to put the community first in the first quarter of 2026, supporting a range of charitable initiatives and community partnerships focused on community resilience, youth empowerment, and mental health.
The company began the year as a sponsor of Stride Against Cancer, walking alongside participants and supporters to recognise the strength and determination of those whose lives have been touched by cancer, and reinforcing its commitment to supporting access to care for individuals and families across the Cayman Islands.
With a focus on the importance of both physical and mental well-being, Cayman First also supported the Addison Kelly 5K Walk/Run as a Caterpillar Sponsor and the Alex Panton Foundation Youth Mental Health Symposium as a Silver Sponsor.
Continuing this commitment to preventative care and education, Cayman First returned as the official breakfast sponsor of the HSA Women’s Health Conference, helping fuel a day of expert-led discussions focused on women’s health and well-being. The event, held in recognition of International Women’s Day, highlighted the importance of access to information, early detection, and collaborative care in improving health outcomes for women.
Cayman First also remained committed to youth development through its sponsorship of the Claudette Upton-Keeley Public Speaking Contest, hosted by the Lions Club of Cayman Brac. The annual event provides a platform for young people to develop confidence, communication skills, and leadership potential, and is part of Cayman First’s long-term commitment to serving the Brac following the rebrand of its Brac Insurance Associates branch to Cayman First earlier this year.
In addition to corporate sponsorships, Cayman First employees raised CI$4,500 during the quarter in support of the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre, Sustainable Cayman, and Cayman Heart Foundation through the company’s “Charities of First” initiative. The long-standing programme enables employees to donate a portion of their salary to local causes they care about, with Cayman First matching all contributions to maximise impact.
Cayman First’s continued investment in the community underscores its long-standing commitment to supporting the well-being and resilience of the Cayman Islands as an insurance provider, employer, and active community partner.
